Singaporean hip-hop artist and rapper Axel Brizzy has returned from his year-long hiatus with an introspective and soulful number, “Leap of Faith”.

Released on Friday, 5 June 2020, the single is his first release in over a year following “Wanna Know”, his 2019 go-getting collaboration with YAØ. Notably, this is Axel’s first single that is produced, mixed and mastered by the artist himself.

Featuring the velvet-smooth vocals of singer-songwriter bittymacbeth, “Leap of Faith” explores the hopes and fears of the two artists, likening their ventures into the music industry to “taking a leap of faith”. Axel wears his heart on his sleeve, giving listeners nothing but sheer honesty – unravelling his deepest thoughts and emotions about his future.

The duo analyses the risks that come with treading the path less taken, ultimately deciding that each obstacle will eventually come together to make their journeys in music worthwhile regardless.
